I 100% agree with everything you said, I have to imagine its exactly down to that, it sucks to see but I'd rather have the dev's just say what you said rather then what most people have done and just being plain ignorant are saying that "OMG RAZER IS BAD" meanwhile have no idea what they're talking about.ĮDIT: Also thank you for having a civil response vs what Loan Ranger and Shugo have sprouted out. There are plenty of games out there that are doing fine without it, and support for this type of stuff really comes down to the Developer and if they can justify supporting it. Maximize your unfair advantage with Razer Synapse 3, the unified cloud-based hardware configuration tool that takes your Razer devices to the next level. Its a nice to have feature, but not game breaking. One thing is clear though, the things they are focused on now are obviously a higher priority vs a 'nice to have' feature. There is lots of reasons we could speculate, but only Ghost Ship knows why.

You also have to think like a business, is allocating time/resources to this going to help your product sell how many people specifically only buy games with this supported?Īlso do not forget possibility they have tried to fix it multiple times, and even maybe talked with Razor directly about the issue, maybe Razor could not provide a suitable solution?

None of us are privy to what Ghost Ship are working on currently, and or what other critical problems they are dealing with that are causing issues. People power is a thing many people forget about, it takes work hours to troubleshoot, work on, and fix problems. Maybe Ghost Ship cannot justify the required resources to work on this issue? Originally posted by Zephyr:Okay, I get that for sure, but why exactly can they not do the work when other smaller studios(with like 300 reviews for their games) still have support? ICUE has great software, Logitech's new software is just plain bad, MSI and ASUS are terrible beyond terrible. It also seems the amount of people asking about where the support went, far out weights the complaints.Īlso believe it or not but Synapse is one of the better Lightining softwares out there.Ĭonsidering I have 3 PCs in the house, with 2 of them running ASUS Mobo/GPU and the rest being Corsair(fans, lighting strips etc) I'm gonna go with I'm not bias either. I've also seen some of the "issues" one guy complained he couldn't get above 120 FPS and another above 64 FPS, like really? Those aren't issues to get 60+ FPS. Okay, I get that for sure, but why exactly can they not do the work when other smaller studios(with like 300 reviews for their games) still have support? A letter from Management: Congratulations, NEW DWARVEN EMPLOYEE By signing up with DEEP ROCK GALACTIC, you have just taken your first step towards becoming an essential gear in the machine of the MOST TENACIOUS space mining corporation in the known galaxy. So poof the support is gone so now because why do Razers job in supporting their garbage tier software, API, and hardware. Most users would come here or discord and blame the game and people trying to help them for Razers crap software. I’ve seen two other people report this issue, one on the DRG discord and one on steam under another thread.Originally posted by ShugoTheRipper:Almost every single post about random locked FPS was caused by Synapse. I don’t think it’s the cable as it’s a high quality DP cable. All other games run totally fine at 144fps and monitor at 144hz. I’ve played DRG many many times on this same DP cable without any issues. Ive tried re-seating the cable and changing the settings you mentioned. Have been on a 3080 since February on the same cable and still no problems. Was running an RTX 260Super at the went away. I'm also now on an Ultra Wide monitor, but the problem subsided before I got that. Eventually upgraded to a higher quality display port cable. Unplugging and replugging the cable back in seemed to fix it, as well as a variety of other tactile solutions.none of it software related at the time (restarting/stopping starting Free Sync, going in and out of HDR or changing the monitor settings). I actually had this problem with deep rock over a year ago and it lasted over a month on and off. Try unplugging and replugging in your display port or monitor cable.
